Set adrift on Cragway

The crew has reached the famous Cragway drift.

Up, up, up we go.

The crew has cleared the Road and all the culverts below the 5-mile post. And, that means its up to Cragway. Cragway is the spot on the Road where the famous snow drift builds throughout the winter. Well, it certainly built itself up this winter, and our conservative estimates are saying 20 feet. As the marketing guy, I'm going with 25 feet.

It was a beautiful day up on the mountain, but it was also windy. I only almost hit the deck twice. Then again, I was totally exposed on top of the Cragway drift. Probably not the best place to be.

Here's what it looked like today:

Also, I feel compelled to note that I, personally, moved 4 rocks out of one of the culverts. Even the marketing guy has done some maintenance on the Road this year. I did have to take the rest of the day off, though.

More soon!

Experiencing the low 80's here in South Carolina, it feels like a different world than there. As a member of the Obs. I enjoy hearing and seeing whats going on there. Thanks.

Let's get a move on. :-) Anxious (and over weight) skiers are eager to drive up while there's snow on the mountain!!

Can't please everyone with the tunes, but I try. It's a Norwegian electronica band, Royksopp. Song is called "Eple."
