What is it exactly that makes the holidays so stressful? I don't think it's of any one thing, but a combination of everything: parties, gifts, realtives, travel...you name it.
You know makes the holidays less stressful? Snow.
Plain and simple, the quiet of falling snow makes eveything better. Calmer. The classic image of children next to the Christmas tree with their faces pressed up against the window watching the snowfall is enough to remind us of everything that's great about the holidays. So, let's think snow and have fun this season.

Shifting gears and speaking of snow, I can't wait until we're done talking about getting open and actually be open. Only a couple days now.

How is that snowmaking coming along? Any updates on when I can break out the rock skis and start skiing in circles around Geepers?

There's skiable snow there now but only on the flats in between the loop. We still have to connect some dots to get Geepers open. This 40 degree weather today isn't helping but there was a brief snowfall this am that is still the top surface on the manmade so even skating back and forth would be good. We'll get back to it tonight, probably after midnight and hopefully through to Saturday. It's going to be windy though so I'm not making any predictions on whether we'll have a loop on Saturday. - Howie
