The Mt. Washington Auto Road is now open to treeline, but the Road Crew is still hard at work opening the rest of the Road. For the details, check out the Road Blog.
Early Season Schedule

The Mt. Washington Auto Road will open for its 147th season on Saturday, May 3 at 9:00am.

The Auto Road is open to the 4.5 mile point, which is just above treeline, affording excellent views of the Northern Presidentials and a chance to experience spring in the mountains.

Operating Hours:
Daily: 9:00am - 3:00pm
(Weather permitting)

Cost: $20 per vehicle.

The Auto Road will be open to drive yourself. Guided Tours are not yet available. No motorcycles allowed on the Auto Road at this time. No travel is allowed above the 4.5 mile point of the Auto Road, either in a vehicle or on-foot.
