In conjunction with the Mt. Washington Auto Road, the Mount Washington Valley Velo Club will be hosting two special rides to Mt. Washington Alternative Energy Day.
The Club has devised a short route and a long route.
Long Route:
9:00 am - Start at the public parking lot behind the Eastern Slope Inn/EMS, off River Road, for a 40.5 mile roundtrip up Pinkam Notch to Great Glen Trails and back.
Short Route:
10:00 am - Start at the Rocky Branch Trailhead parking lot on Route 16 just north of the Dana Place Inn for a 14 mile roundtrip ride.
The Mt. Washington Valley Velo Club is a group of cyclists who enjoy staying in good health, the camaraderie of fellow cyclists, and a bit of competition among friends. They cover a variety of ages and experiences and enjoy sharing the many benefits of this sport with others. www.mwvvelo.blogspot.com
