The Tradition of Ride to the Sky Continues at the Mt. Washington Auto Road
(More news)Pinkham Notch, NH—The Mt. Washington Auto Road welcomes motorcyclists throughout Laconia Bike Week to “Ride to the Sky” and offers two motorcycle-only days on Monday, June 15 and Thursday, June 18.
As Laconia Bike Week has grown, so has the tradition of a ride up the Mt. Washington Auto Road. Each year thousands of bikes make the journey to the top of New England during the two motorcycle only days offered by the Mt. Washington Auto Road—Ride to the Sky. During the two motorcycle-only days of Ride to the Sky, cars are not allowed on the Mt. Washington Auto Road. Bikes rule the road. Thursday will feature an expo and barbecue at the base of the mountain.
During both motorcycle-only days, passengers ride free from 7:30a.m. – 10:00a.m.
The Mt. Washington Auto Road is open daily throughout Laconia Motorcycle Week from 7:30a.m. – 6:00p.m., weather permitting. Guided tours in the famous Mt. Washington Stage Vans will still be available throughout the week and during both motorcycle-only days.
