Is winter here already?

Is winter here already? I know that's a strange question to be asking from where I sit, but it seems fitting. The calendar just flipped to November yesterday, but it's snowing here in Pinkham Notch. Real, actual snow. It's pretty cool. I'm sure that once the sun hits it later today or tomorrow it will melt away, but it's always nice to see the white stuff. We had similar snowfall on Sunday night, and Sue has already gone for a short ski. Is winter here already? Well, not quite yet, but it's just around the corner. I know that April will be here soon enough, and I'll be lamenting the end of winter. But, I still can't believe that it's almost winter. Or is it winter already?

I love this time of the year! I feel like I get to switch gears between the sports I love and being a gearhead what could be better than looking at the new stuff for the new season? See you in the shop this weekend.
