Welcome to the 24 Hours of Great Glen Blog
All aboard!
Every where you look there's a blog. And now, the 24 Hours of Great Glen has a blog.
For the 12th Annual 24 Hours of Great Glen, Marty Basch will be sharing his experiences of getting ready for the race, racing the event and what it feels like when you're all done. Marty will also be blogging live during the race in between riding, eating, sleeping and wondering how he got there. The best part about this blog is that Marty has never ridden the 24 Hours of Great Glen before. He's biked all over the world but has never made it up here to his own backyard for this event.
If you've never ridden the event before, don't look to Marty for advice. He's a clueless as you! But feel free to post questions here, and the staff at Great Glen Trails will be happy to answer them. If you have ridden the race before, chime in. You know what it's like. And, you can probably motivate Marty to train a little harder.
Check back often to see what Marty is doing to get ready for the race and be sure to check in when it's all said and done. For information and registration for the 24 Hours of Great Glen go to www.24HoursOfGreatGlen.com. And for the other tales of the mountains and beyond, check out the Great Glen Trails blog.
Good luck, Marty!
