What a lucky day!

Feeling lucky.

On Sunday, D and I went for a hike. It was an amazing day. In our quest to finish up the AT, we hiked from Route 302 in Crawford Notch to the summit of Mt. Washington. "You finished at the summit?" you ask. Yup. We parked a car at the summit overnight, and I would highly recommend this as a way to hike Mt. Washington. It was a blast. But, here' s the really good part: the weather. We had an amazing weather day. Have you ever had one of those days either hiking, biking or skiing that was just perfect? Well, this was one of those days. At one point, D said, "Man, this is sweet!" That pretty much summed it up. It was so beautiful, it was really indescribable. We felt really lucky, Anyone else ever have a day like that?
